Handmade garlic keeper made with red clay fired at mid-range, cone 6 oxidation, in an electric kiln. The piece was hand thrown on the pottery wheel, with an attached textured slab bottom and lid, with a wire handle. The piece has a hand painted underglaze design that is transferred onto the piece from newspaper. The interior is lined with a clear glossy glaze. The garlic keeper is 4" tall with lid and wire (2 3/4" tall without lid) and 3 1/2" wide (at widest point). The piece is dishwasher, microwave, oven and food safe.
