1936-1941 Ford flathead 90 100 221 239 V8 NOS 48-6256 56 teeth no box fits 1935-1941 221 90HP 1939-1941 239 100HP according to the 1928-1948 Ford part book, a 48 should have 44 teeth, but this one has 56. Again according to the parts book, the 56 tooth gear is for a different application but this is stamped with the part number.
