Mini water rocket

You can measure the payload (water weight), and the flight time to apex to estimate the average lb/sec thrust being generated. You can measure the number of pumps you use with each launch. If you are measuring, you might as well make some hypothesis (educated guesses) If only put a little water in, and then vary the number of pumps.  How does the pressure affect the flight? If you put in a half water and then vary the number of pumps, How does the pressure affect the flight? Now put in 80% water and then vary the number of pumps.  Now how does the pressure affect the flight? It is plastic and is about to shoot out really fast and then fall down.  Because of this, there are some dos and don'ts: Don't launch it over concrete or hard surfaces. Do launch it over sand, grass, or other soft landing places. Don't launch it in areas with a lot of trees or impassable terrain. Do launch it in an open space where you can see it land and retrieve it. Don't launch it at people (you are a people) or pets.
