Amundson Customs Super Model / Prone Foil Board

After Two Years of Development, Introducing the THE DESIGN The Super Model started as one of those creatively obsessive thoughts that John had and could not forget about, a prone foil board that would paddle fast like a race paddleboard. Knowing that a 4 foot something board could never paddle as fast a 12 foot paddleboard, John embarked on a quest to design a foil board that would paddle fast while retaining a high caliber of wave riding performance. In the design and prototyping process John realized the narrow concept not only paddled better but the narrower width increased overall performance as well. Introducing the Super Model! The obviously narrow outline has many benefits for the high-level rider: -Less swing weight. Rail weight has been pushed even further towards the center of the board giving the ride a more sensitive and responsive feel. -Less air friction when pumping.
