Thomas Russell and Nicholas Low both played roles in financing the American Navy during the Revolutionary War and in the eventual leadership of the Articles of Confederation period's Bank of North America from 1781. Both also worked with the First Bank of the United States, under 1790 Constitutional authority, in their respective city branches and played roles in advocating for the U.S. Constitution in their respective state assemblies. Thomas Russell was a familiar of John Adams and Nicholas Low also managed Constitution-signer Rufus King's finances. Condition as shown.
