Stratification Doughnut W

Recall driving on roads that were carved out of a mountainside revealing the different layers of earth?  These ceramic wall sculptures remind me of that.  Strips of clay are placed on end to create this Geologic effect.  Great as a single piece to bring attention to a small area or as multiples for more drama.  This dome shaped doughnut has a hole in the middle, revealing the wall behind it.Stoneware clay finished with underglaze.  It is ready to hang on the wall with a nail or screw.Approximate size: 5.5 inch diameter by 2 inch depth (projection off the wall)
