About this Image:I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee. - 2 Kings 20:5The idea for Balm of Gilead came to me shortly after Japan was hit by the catastrophic tsunami in March of 2011. I was moved by how much suffering I saw. This painting depicts Christ’s Second Coming when, after great destruction and upheaval, Christ will heal us. This painting is a testimony to the power of Christ to become our personal Balm of Gilead.About the Artist:ANNIE HENRIE NADER knew she wanted to be an artist at an early age. She has early memories of painting with her father, a professional artist. Annie graduated from Brigham Young University with a BFA in Illustration. As part of her education, she was able to study abroad in England and Italy. She also served as a full-time missionary in southern England.
