Artist: Carol Lehmann Cloisonné enameled copper with stainless steel ear wires. 1/2" wide x 2 1/2" long Cloisonné is an enameling technique that consists of attaching delicate sterling silver strips, bent to the outline of a design and filling the resulting cellular spaces, called cloisons (French: “partitions” or “compartments”), with vitreous enamel.
