It is produced at the award winning Buffalo Trace Distillery. This marvelous blend is crafted from Mash Bill #2, like other great blends such as Blanton's, William Larue, and Elmer T. Lee. It is a sour mash of corn, malted barely, and extra rye. This bourbon is rich and complex with bright notes of strong vanilla and toasted wood aromas. On the palate you notice a buttery mouthfeel, mingled with rich notes of caramel, layered with essence of roasted nuts.
