Satin Artisan Soap
Satin Artisan Soap This one takes me back to a very special place. It's a 2024 creation that embodies what 2017 me wishes I could do. This fragrance drew me in so quickly, like I had been hypnotized. It is delicate and complex. I knew that this little fragrance oil bottle needed to be able to shine on its own, so it was slated for a simple design. It is a velvety pearl-like mica for the solid color soap, with an impression mat textured top and a dusting of white-silver shift mica. Simple and classic. I definitely categorize this as floral, yet that's not what kept me going back time and time again for sneaky little whiffs (all soapmakers do it!). Come to find out, it was the base note of myrrh that was the mysterious note. Unlike sandalwood or cedarwood, which are much more common base notes in my lineup, myrrh adds a warm resinous, spicy note, like a little feisty cousin to amber. The scent journey on this one is a wild, pleasant ride! A bit luxurious, a bit soft, a bit powdery... ju
