LONG MERMAID SCARF - OCEAN

The design on this scarf was derived from the art on the soundboard of our charming Mermaid ukulele. The mythical long-haired mermaid that we know and love today originated in the middle ages and many of them were depicted holding or playing traditional musical instruments of the era. As a nod to her ancestral family, this blissful beauty is appropriately playing a ukulele as her hair floats up to the surface. What’s not to love? Alchemical mermaids had two tails (ours does too!) representing unity of earth and water, body and soul, and a vision of the all-pervading “anima mundi” or world soul.
