I don't now about you but Halloween is my favorite holiday. I love spooky stuff and I have a bit of a thing for skulls. This year I was inspired to paint some pieces in honor of the season. Most of this little collection is skulls but I really loved the idea of painting a ghost. This is the more abstracted piece in the series. This painting took a long time of perfectly blending the shadows. I added lovely details and markings to create a more fragmented illusion. Other people have looked at this piece and didn't see a ghost at all. They saw the trunk and roots of a tree. Isn't that so cool? A little ghost still invisible to certain people.
