Paloma 36x60

Paloma is named after Picasso’s daughter and is a delightful and unique painting. The colors are muted except for the oranges spilling from the bowl on top her head, and the little pop of yellow and green toward the bottom. A thick arm holds an equally thick tumbler, as I enjoy exaggerating the limbs. A subtle pinstripe on her vest was a last-minute decision to tie all the markings together, resulting in a truly dynamic statement piece of art. 36 x 60 x 1.5 Original contemporary painting, acrylic on canvas.
