The 657ce Bajo Quinto combines a completely unique tone profile with modern Taylor touches. The 10-string Bajo Quinto is tuned in fourths to A-D-G-C-F, with the A and D doubled in octaves and the G, C and F tuned in unison. Back and sides of solid Big Leaf maple and a solid Sitka spruce top combine with Taylor's Grand Pacific round-shoulder dreadnought body shape and our tone-boosting V-Class bracing to produce a clear, resonant musical character that sounds unlike anything else Taylor has created. Original Taylor enhancements include a new offset bridge pin/string ramp configuration that allows each pair of strings to sing with optimal touch responsiveness without interfering with each other.
