Republic F-105 Thunderchief

The Republic F-105 Thunderchief, nicknamed the "Thud", was a supersonic fighter-bomber used by the United States Air Force (USAF) primarily during the Vietnam War.  T F-105 Thunderchief was a powerful and fast fighter-bomber that played a significant role in the Vietnam War, performing strike and SEAD missions despite high losses. A total of 833 Republic F-105 Thunderchief aircraft were built, according to military history sources. Production of the F-105, encompassing all variants, concluded in 1964.
