Great Lakes 2T-1A

The Great Lakes Aircraft Corporation first developed the 2T-1 in 1929. The 2T-1A was a revised version with improved handling characteristics, becoming a favorite among aerobatic pilots. Production of the 2T-1A continued through several iterations and changes in ownership, including being produced by WACO Classic Aircraft starting in 2011. Approximately 264 Great Lakes 2T-1A aircraft were built by the Great Lakes Aircraft Company before the company folded in 1936.
