This is a Fuel Quantity Indicator for the Main tanks as used in versions of the P-38 Lightning, made by General Electric, Model 8DJ12LAE. The P-38 had two fuel quantity indicators.. this was for the main tanks, 0-60 gals. NOTE: the second pointer is missing. See 2 photos which show the location of the fuel quantity indicator on the instrument panel of the P-38.
