This manual covers the Fundamentals of Operation and Principal Uses of aircraft instruments commonly used in aircraft during the 1940's.  Published in 1943 by Bendix in 1943, the manual explains the theory, fundamentals, and operation (but not repair and maintenance) of: Pitot Tubes Airspeed Indicator Altimeter Turn and Bank Indicator Rate of Climb Indicator Accelerometer Tachometers Autosyn Systems Fuel Flowmeter Manifold Pressure Suction Pressure Magnetic Compass Drift Meter Sextant Oxygen Regulator At about 76 pages, this 8.5" x 11" book contains text, illustrations, diagrams, and tables.  It is stamped as formerly owned by an employee of the Goodyear Aircraft Corporation. It is in very good condition given its age. The cover has some small tears, but the pages are intact and in good shape.
