This product is used after the hide is fleshed and salted. In most cases, the hair will come off deer and elk hides in 1-2 days. Dry salted hides will take longer to rehydrate and de-hair. The hair is easily scraped off with a dull scraper. Popular for deer, elk and bison hides to make buckskin leather. Hide Hair Removal leaves a clean, white looking hide.
