CHINESE CHESTNUT castanea mollissima 'is a member of the Fagaceae family and is native to china. DEER HUNTERS this tree is for you! The Chinese Chestnut is a deciduous tree that grows anywhere from 40' to 60' tall. It loves full sun and blooms in June. Plant more than one tree for cross pollination.  This tree makes a beautiful shade tree.  Zones 4-8 more info     We only ship to the continental USA no shipping to California, Arizona, Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. Our plants ship bare root or with minimal soil in a bag.  5 gallon pots or larger they must be picked up at the nursery ( or call for special shipping arrangements to see if we can ship to you ).
