Little Mauve Mushroom Earrings

These little mushrooms take advantage of the stripe-y colors on a contemporary tin I picked up recently. Each piece is hand cut, edges filed and finished smooth, and then the distressed dots are created. A surgical stainless steel ear wire finishes the look. The finished earrings are approximately 1" (24mm) wide and hang about 1.75" (44mm) from the ear. All adaptive reuse pieces come to you neatly displayed on an upcycled card and sustainably wrapped ready for gift-giving. Each piece of metal comes to me having lived a previous life--in some cases multiple lives! It is not unusual for the material to sometimes have scuffs, scratches, faded portions, and general wear and tear.
