2020 BALSA WOOD SHORTAGES 2020 Has been a tough year all the way around for Schools and STEM Education. On top of Covid-19, Balsa Wood is and has been in a shortage with no predictability to when this shortage will end.  Balsa Wood Prices this year have become unreasonably high. Please know this is not an effort on our part to overcharge our customers but instead to pay what we have to so we can supply our customers with the materials they need for their STEM Activities. If the prices are too high I would urge you to take a look at our Basswood Dragster Kits and Basswood Products as a good replacement. We typically can and will fill any orders we get within 1-2 business days, but without reliable supply chains for Balsa Wood we cannot guarantee the fulfillment of your orders at the time of your order and your order could become back-ordered or even canceled based on unforeseen factors.
