This turn of the century violin labeled "Vuillaume a Paris, Rue des Petits Champs, 46" is most likely a well-made German (or possibly Japanese) copy that is in fantastic condition for what is more than likely a hundred-plus year old instrument. With no major cracks or repairs, this instrument has been set up with a fiddle profile bridge by Asheville based luthier Brandon Johnson. This lightweight, responsive, and resonant instrument would be right at home at an old time jam, celtic session, or even a student looking for a step up instrument. Currently set up with D'Addario Prelude strings.
