Made of impact resistant plastic, this is far more durable than the other 3 pieces lips you may be thinking of. The lip through bolts into the bumper splash tray. The only modification needed for install is drilling holes in the splash tray. If you ever want to go back to stock, you wont have holes in your bumper cover. Bumper removal is required for install.
