During the design phase, we quickly discovered there is no single source for the technical outlines of a Speederbike and to add further complexity, each model kit, toy, and movie photo vary greatly from each. To create a respectable representation of this iconic vehicle,  we "averaged" the measurements from the original AMT/ERTL and updated Bandai model kits, along with screen-captured measurements from the movie, "Return of the Jedi" in order to capture the sleek outline of this iconic vehicle.
