Item: Rare Mid Century Modern Set of Two High back Chairs "Knot" Chairs by De Ster Gelderland in Solid Walnut About: This set of walnut armchairs was made by De Ster Gelderland in the 1960's. The wood frames have organic designs with a detail shaped like a knot. We have left the chairs simply refinished with a wax finish on the "blonde" wood. The chairs have new orange upholstery. If you wish to have them refinished more traditionally, we would be happy to do that at no additional charge. Note: This listing had a low back and a high back chair pictured. The client has elected to have 2 high back chairs to match the single high back chair in the listing. The low back chair will not be included in this list total but at the time of this listing is available separately for purchase.Origin: Germany Proof: Ample Provenance Period: 1960s Material: Walnut Fabric State: Restored.
