Built from a mix of solid and veneered American black walnut this gorgeous American icon functions well as both a credenza/TV stand and as a dresser. Kipp Stewart, who recently passed in 2022, is an American Icon who's work as a furniture designer, artist and architect has been widely respected and venerated throughout the US and abroad. After working with the renowned industrial designers Charles and Bernice “Ray” Eames, Stewart went on to design furniture of a mid-century modern aesthetic for Drexel Heritage out of North Carolina, Directional Furniture through the Modernage Company in New York, and Summit Furniture of Monterey. The Drexel Furniture Co. began over a hundred years ago in Hickory, North Carolina with a single product and a simple vision.
