The limited-edition Cerakote versions of Ceramicspeed’s OSPW X system came to life when the Danish brand started a study to find materials that might enhance the already impressive durability of their famed low-friction products. During their research, they trialled Cerakote, a polymer-ceramic composite commonly used in the automotive and aerospace industries. If a material can make the grade in space, then it’s probably pretty resilient, and sure enough, Cerakote’s industry-leading durability, hardness, scratch and corrosion resistance won out in Ceramicspeed’s internal testing against other materials. Strictly limited to 100 per color, the Cerakote OSPW X system comes in Bronze, Gunmetal, and Military Olive matte.
