Phonograms Kit 1: “a” sounds a, ae, ey, ay, a with silent e, ei, eigh Lesson Intentions: This kit will provide your child/student with activities to help build their phonemic awareness of the following phonograms: a, ae, ey, ay, a with silent e, ei, and eigh. Phonograms are variant ways to spell the same sound. This kit will help build your child’s/student’s vocabulary awareness and visual discrimination. This is the first phonogram kit in a series that we will produce.  Some kits will concentrate on one sound and others will have two sounds (based on the amount of variant spellings).
