Perimeter, Area, and Volume Kit This kit will guide your child/student in understanding and applying equations to calculate the following concepts: perimeters for squares, rectangles, quadrilaterals, triangles, and regular and irregular polygons; areas for squares, rectangles, triangles, parallelograms, trapezoids, and other regular and irregular polygons; and volume of rectangular and triangular prisms. Materials included in lesson kit: Twelve 2D geometric shapes (vary in each kit), four 3D geometric prisms (vary in each kit), a ruler, activities with directions, follow up work, and answer sheet (not for shapes or prisms). The lessons and follow up activity worksheets come in a folder for easy storage. The materials come in a labeled box that is easy to store on a work shelf for your child or student.
