Eco-Melaleuca Premium Mulch   Our premium Melaleuca Mulch has been inspected and certified by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Division of Plant Industry, to be free of burrowing nematodes. This mulch is made from 100% clean Melaleuca logs, shredded to 1 ½” minus in size then cured for at least 120 days to kill any Melaleuca seeds.  Melaleuca was tested by the University of Florida, who determined that “Both Melaleuca wood and mulch were not eaten by the termites” (Landscape Mulches: Will Subterranean Termites Consume Them?
