Green Prehnite Necklace with Fiddlehead Fern Frond

The frilly fronds of this fern are cut from heavy gauge sterling silver. Each individual leaflet has been meticulously hand stamped with a texture. A heavy gauge sterling silver wire forms the stem of the fern which connects the fern to a bezel set oval shaped Prehnite gemstone. The pendant hangs from a 21” sterling silver chain that fastens with a lobster clasp. The bezel and stone measure 1-3/8” long and the fern measures 2” long. Together they hang 3-3/8” from the chain. All metal is .925 sterling silver except the fine silver bezel. A patina was added to bring out the texture of the fern. It has been tumble polished and sealed with a protective coating.
