Communion Face Mask At the beginning of the Covid-19 shutdown, I made batches of masks for local doctors and families until the shortage ended. I never shared the photos because they were a painful reminder of losing my jobs and life in NYC, and most of all the terrible isolation it forced upon all of us.    But the Communion masks are different. My customers needed them to make their First Holy Communion - a singularly transcendent event. So I resolved to help them overcome this shadow with an effusion of unexpected beauty. No longer would face masks distract. Here their beauty points towards the higher reality that even in isolation we are not alone. The First Holy Communion face masks are made with a diamond white silk wool. (Diamond white is shade between bright white and ivory.) The silk wool's shine and structure make it a beautiful option.
