This is a one-piece, china cabinet or hutch from the Drexel Declaration line designed by Kipp Stewart and Stewart McDougall.  We are big fans of Drexel Declaration and enjoy pieces in our own home!  Date stamped December, 1962, this hutch retains it's original finish (walnut) and the original white rounded hardware!  The upper cabinet has two doors that swing open to reveal three levels of shelving. Below, there is a unique feature - two sliding tambour doors with brass pulls.  We have the brackets that can be used to support two shelves within either cubby, if you desire to add shelves in the future.  *The tambour sliders have small chips on either side. This is truly a beautiful piece of mid century modern furniture and we look forward to seeing it go to a loving home! Dimensions: 52" wide, 18" deep, 72" tall Have questions about materials (like, what is veneer?) see our recent post with an explanation about materials here.
