The tire provides superb summer weather traction and it will grip the road excellently in dry and wet weather conditions. The model will, however, not perform well in winter, as the tire compound loses its good traction in colder temperatures. The circumferential grooves in the tread pattern prevent dangerous hydroplaning by eliminating water from below the tire footprint, improving the models safety in wet weather conditions. The tire compound was manufactured with high levels of silica in it. This further improves the summer weather traction, especially the wet traction, of the tire, while also enhancing other aspects. The tires rolling resistance is lowered with the higher silica levels, which, in turn, decrease t
