The material weighs 2.91 ounces per square yard which is important because heavier covers will be affected less by extreme elements. The topside of this cover has been treated to inhibit UV rays. This cover has an additional five foot overlap to ensure space for water bags on the deck and slack in the cover. Two lines of double chain stitching secure the self-edged binding as well as water bag loops which are placed every four feet around the perimeter of the cover.
