The price is great and I got it delivered in 2 days.Cons: The only reason for giving it a 4 and not a 5 is that the box claims it's a quiet operation and it's not. When you turn it on and when you turn it off, the motor is temporarily loud.Also, it shows in pictures an entire apple fitting into the chamber. Do NOT put an entire apple (or any large fruit for that matter) into the chamber. It will get stuck and the plunger is made of plastic. If you push too hard to try to dislodge the fruit, there is a plastic piece on the lower part of the plunger that will break (which happened to me - I returned that unit and purchased a new one). I'm not saying the plastic plunger is delicate - it's not. It's a hard plastic, but it is plastic. Use it with care and it works great.Also, as others have said, there are a lot of parts that need to be cleaned, but so does my food processor. It's a great juicer for the price. The cleaning of parts is a given. Make sure you clean the strainer/filter and use the brush on it right away so the food doesn't dry on it. Plus there was a key to keep track of and removing the blade was difficult and annoying. The MegaChef is super easy to assemble/disassemble/clean and it's thoughtfully designed to the smallest detail. This is a family juicer (serves 1-2) but it gets the job done w/ no problem on the lowest setting incl. ginger, carrots, pineapple, etc. The unit looks great on my kitchen counter and it's a joy to own and operate. What I disliked was some of the juice was spraying out from the sides of the juicing net. Overall, I’m satisfied with my results. I would turn off the unit in between juicing as a cool down period. For the reason of not risking possible overheating of the motor. It’s apparent to me that whatever motor they use in these are not of nice quality. Since that day, I’ve yet to plug it back in to retry it.
