Shiplap panels are a great way to add rustic charm to your rooms. Shiplap panels were traditionally used in the construction of barns, sheds and outbuildings, but have recently gained popularity in residences. These panels have a groove along the edge that allow them to overlap and fit snug together. This also forms a 1/4 in. reveal between the boards to give the distinct appearance of shiplap. These panels have a unique joint that gives the panels extra stability when installed.
