The Med-Aire 5" mattress system is specially designed to decrease the incidence of pressure injuries in domestic and long-term care settings. Compatible with any standard foam or innerspring mattress, this active overlay system delivers both pressure redistribution, reduced shear and friction, and improved microclimate control through alternating pressure and low air loss therapy. The easy-to-use control unit features static settings and adjustable patient weight settings to maximize immersion, comfort, and patient adherence.   Features Active mattress overlay system provides both alternating pressure and low air loss to optimize pressure redistribution, shear/friction reduction, and microclimate control.
