The light on the charger will turn from red to green when fully charged The five green LED lights on the DB2 control panel show the battery state of charge. When all five LEDs are lit up, the speaker will have approx. 40 hours of continuous play time For best long-term battery life, don’t leave the DB2 plugged in for extended periods after the battery is charged Using the DemerBox DB2: Turn on the DemerBox DB2 by pressing the Power button Find the DB2 under your device’s Bluetooth settings and select it To charge a device, plug the device into the USB charge out port on the DB2, and then turn on the DB2. Keep in mind, the DB2 battery will drain faster if you’re charging a device from it You can control the volume two ways: Use the volume controls on your device, or use the Up/Down arrow buttons on the front of the DB2 (these only work in Bluetooth mode) How to make your DemerBox DB2 waterproof: Remove the Port Plug from the Port Plug holder inside the DemerBox DB2 Close the DB2 lid and secure the latches Place the Port Plug into the matching opening on the outside lid (called the Port Hole) Secure the Port Plug by lightly pressing the plug into the opening Twist the locking cap clockwise until it no longer turns Important: Your DemerBox DB2 is only waterproof and sealed when the Port Plug is properly inserted! Care Instructions Cleaning the exterior: Insert the Port Plug and wash your DemerBox DB2 in the kitchen sink with a sponge and soapy water Rinse with clean water. Don’t spray a forceful stream of water on the speakers or switch Note: A Magic Eraser works great for getting tough smudges and marks clean. Rubbing alcohol is also a good option for cleaning the outside Cleaning the interior: Turn the DemerBox DB2 off. Disconnect and remove all cables Use a damp cloth or sponge to wipe out the inside of the DB2 Don’t drip water into the charge port, USB, or 3.5 mm stereo jack Leave the box open until it’s fully dry
