Tree of Life: Patina w/ Reground Faces
I've always loved items that have a classy look. For me, it just seems like everything was built better before our time. People took pride in whatever it was that they did, because it told a story of who they were. So when I began making "paperweights", there was no question as to which style I would base mine off of. The "Tree of Life" hails from the classic design of what many know of as the "Lincoln" or "T-Handle". When I designed mine, I wanted a continual flow throughout. While there's many four finger Lincoln's out there, the ToL is in a league all its own. The original concept for the CNC was created directly from a handmade piece that I made for myself back in 2022, and after making it, I knew this would be OUR piece moving forward. This Tree of Life was precision machined out of solid brass and has the same 1" diameter finger stalls as you would expect from one of my handmade pieces... however, all of my stalls have more of an elliptical shape and "gullied" partitions
