8” Shallow Gathering Basket #1958

This is 8” Shallow Gathering Basket #1958 which was handmade here at 1840 Farm on September 22, 2023.  This basket features a pretty collection of Halloween inspired fabrics including solids and patterns in shades of black, grey, orange, and white. This basket is stitched together with ebony colored zigzag stitching. This basket stands 2.5 inches tall and the diameter of the top opening is approximately 8.5 inches wide. Our Gathering Baskets are perfect for tiring pantry ingredients to the kitchen, collecting fresh apples on the kitchen counter, or collecting your keys, remotes, or glasses. They feature a single handle that can be used to carry the empty basket or to hang the basket on a hook, peg rack, doorknob, or cabinet pull.  All of our coiled fabric baskets are made by hand at 1840 Farm.  Each fabric strip is torn by hand before being combined with other complimentary fabrics and then wrapped around a length of cording, joining the fabrics as we go.  The fabric wrapped cord is th
